Brokerage Services is a continuing education course designed to provide Texas real estate license holders with a comprehensive understanding of the brokerage functions, responsibilities, and regulatory requirements involved in real estate transactions. The course examines the role of the broker and sponsored sales agents in delivering brokerage services in compliance with Texas Real Estate Commission rules and applicable state laws.

Topics include brokerage relationships, agency disclosure requirements, fiduciary duties, intermediary relationships, compensation structures, supervision and delegation of authority, and risk management practices. The course also addresses ethical considerations, brokerage policies, recordkeeping requirements, and the use of promulgated forms in providing brokerage services.

Emphasis is placed on understanding the scope of authorized brokerage activities, compliance with TREC standards, and avoiding conduct that may result in disciplinary action. Through practical examples and discussion of common brokerage scenarios, license holders will strengthen their ability to provide professional, compliant, and ethical brokerage services in Texas real estate transactions.
